Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CuPet ("CuPet," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CuPet mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using CuPet you agree to this Policy and to the Community Guidelines below.
Community Guidelines & Zero-Tolerance Policy
CuPet is a community for pet owners, and your use of CuPet is governed by this agreement (which serves as our End User License Agreement). CuPet has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Every user must agree to these terms before creating an account. The following are not permitted on CuPet:
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, or abusing other users.
- Objectionable content — including sexually explicit, hateful, violent, illegal, or otherwise offensive photos or messages.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or fake profiles.
- Any unlawful activity, including the unlawful sale of animals.
You can report any pet, profile, or message and block any user directly in the app. Reports and blocks are sent to our moderation team, and a blocked user is removed from your experience immediately and can no longer contact you. We review reported content and remove objectionable content and suspend or terminate offending accounts, typically within 24 hours. See our Terms of Service for the full acceptable-use rules.

- Legal — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
4. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

6. Children's privacy
CuPet is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
